I learned a valuable lesson today about being extra careful to take the medications that you think you are taking. As it turns out, my pills for stomach acid reduction are the identical color to the ones fot Cymbalta. I couldn’t figure out why I felt so physically terrible all day long and I was going through mild withdrawal from my antidepressant. It pays to double check and be extra doubly certain that the medication I’m taking is the one that I’m supposed to be taking.
After today’s really tough day, it stands to reason that I wasn’t thinking all that clearly but now I am. At any rate I hope to be feeling better in an hour. I took the Cymbalta 5 minutes ago at 8:49PM. One the capsules dissolve, I should have a better idea of how I’ll feel.
At least Cymbalta appears to have a long half life because I think I might have made this same mistake yesterday and it took a while to feel these withdrawal symptoms. I’m reminded of the importance of staying in the prescribed regimen and being careful and methodical; lesson reinforced.
