Sometimes I think I might simply be a glutton for punishment. Well, I have decided to pick up The Odin Project again for learning full stack web development. I realized that I kind of need to go through a course so that I can learn this and then move to WordPress. I need a solid foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for WordPress. Since Odin looks like it will really give me this solid foundation, I am just going to go through it and get it done. This morning I was up early because I could not sleep so I completed the second project which was a template for a web page.
I am also going to make yet another visit to the local Social Security office to drop off yet another completed form that they neglected to tell me about. Everything with Social Security is a ten yard fight and I am sick and tired of it. Hopefully, this form, the SS-795, will be the last and final one in order to have Medicare Part B reinstated. On top of all of this, I have to make a call to my new land lord and tell the property manager that the bathroom sink is backing up and needs to be snaked.
I just feel like I am in a hopefully temporary rut right now. If I can simply buckle down and learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, I’ll be that much further along towards my goal of website development. I don’t know if I will have marketable skills but I can always try on Fiverr and see what I can pick up. Well, that point is quite a ways off anyhow. Today is just going to be one shitty day that I want to end.
